A subsection is a page nested one level beneath a section. It also gets its own URL and its own sidebar entry, but it's indented under its parent section to show the relationship. Subsections are useful for breaking a big topic into smaller pages — for example, a "Getting Started" section might have "Installing on Mac," "Installing on Windows," and "Installing on Linux" as subsections.

Subsections don't nest further. A subsection can't have its own child subsections — Doclix's hierarchy is deliberately just two levels deep, which keeps navigation simple no matter how large your project grows.
